Solva to St Justinians

Day 3 of our walk was the unanimous favourite. The sheer cliffs and sparkling waters stretched for miles. We eventually reached the end of the big bay and completed the journey to St Justinians heading up St George's Channel between Wales and Ireland. We were lucky to notice our destination as it was pretty much just a bus stop. It did deliver a bus though, and we were back at our accommodation too quickly to justify the effort we had expended. We had really just walked in a big semi circle around our base at St David's.

The low point of the day was towards the end. A dog being walked on a lead slipped its collar and chased a lamb off the cliff. The coastal path is a bit treacherous, our host said they lose dogs over the edge, and people have gone that way too. Not surprising.

The water colour today was at it's best we think.

Leaving Solva

Vicki spotted a ship wreck. It's hard to see but it's one of two tugs they lost in 1981 enroute from Greece to Liverpool. We spotted what's left of both wrecks.

One of our local pubs prep'ed for VE Day. We found it though
