Martin's Haven to Broad Haven
I've been carrying Bridie's Greek mati charm and it's been working a treat. It was tested a bit as we started our walk in Wales. We left Cardiff on another stunning morning and carefully followed the instructions to board our train using the front two cars for destinations beyond Swansea. As soon as the train left, the train manager instructed passengers travelling beyond Swansea to move to the rear two cars. He was serious, so we did. I have some sympathy for Transport for Wales, because the front two cars in Cardiff turn out to be the back two cars in Swansea. It continues its journey in reverse. This happened again as we made our way to Haverfordwest, but it didn't matter, as no more carriages were jettisoned beyond Swansea.
Our next leg was a bus, but we missed the memo that the buses don't run on weekends. Then we tried Uber, but the one Uber driver didn't pick up so we resorted to a cab and the planets realigned.
Milford Haven was about 15 degrees colder than Cardiff and blowing like Castlepoint. Vicki purchased a woolly hat.
The mati did it's work overnight and the wind faded and switched direction giving us a gentle push on our first days walk. It was a stunning piece of coast too, starting out as rocky cliffs dressed in spring flowers and finishing with a fairytale forest and a glass of wine at the pub.

Great views along the way
An enchanted forest. I see why they believe in fairy's now
Little Haven is next to our bay and we have visited their pubs
